Volunteering work in Doliana, Neochori and Giannena House asylum seeker accommodation facilities and centers, 2017

In 2017, volunteers of Youth Center of Epirus organized activities at Neochori accommodation facility for asylum seekers and refugees which is located near Ioannina city. The activities took place twice a week, they were recreational and meant for children and younger teenagers. Usually the activities consisted of watching movies, doing crafting and playing sports games. 

During the same period of time, our volunteers offered occasional sports activities for asylum seeker children and teenagers at Agia Eleni accommodation facility and also in Giannena House asylum seeker facility, twice a week. The activities were meant for young children and they were recreational and psycho-social monitoring. Usually, the activities were crafting and playing various sport games. 

These activities were supported by local and French Civic Service volunteers.
