Youth Exchange "Take part, be part" in Hondarribia, Spain

As part of the Erasmus+ program, the youth exchange "Take part, be part" was held from September 21 to September 29, 2024. The following text provides insights into the participants' experiences.

"From 21 to 29 September 2024 we participated in the "Take part, be part" Youth Exchange in Hondarribia, Basque Country. Besides the rich culture and beauty of the region, it was a challenging and extremely rewarding experience.

The days of the Youth Exchange were divided equally, with the first 2 and the last 2 days being presented by the Spanish-Basque organisation, and the middle days being divided so that one country at a time prepared and presented a day in its entirety. 

There was great guidance and very helpful material for the workshops, as well as a climate of trust and freedom for each country's proposals and the way they were presented. During this time we worked together and discussed issues such as communication skills, stereotypes and active participation of young people.

There was excellent participation and very nice ideas from all the groups in a very nice atmosphere, thanks to the detailed work, love and attention shown by the Basque organisation.

The Youth Exchange ended with many images and emotions, new elements of culture and soft skills, new relationships and an even stronger sense of belonging to the European Union."
